'Love Me' the latest Kristen Stewart romance film that stands the test of time and space!

Love Me is a Romance film that stars Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun as a buoy and a satellite that meet online long after humanity's extinction. What makes this movie interesting is seeing two "beings" research and discover what its like to be human and what love really is.

As someone who didn't watch any trailers and went into this movie completely blind I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this film. I've always wondered what it would be like for aliens to discover what humanity was like through the internet and this movie kind of answers that. This film uses different art styles switching from these Ai avatars to live-action.

This is definitely one of the most unconventional love stories I've ever seen. Which is one of the movies biggest strengths. Love Me has its funny moments but the film really does break down the social media aspect of society and builds it back up again as the Ai lovers start to develop their own sense of humanity and purpose. Stewart and Yeun have beautiful on screen chemistry and do a great job conveying the complexity that comes with developing and maintaining relationships while also keeping your own autonomy.

While I did enjoy this movie I think the movie works best when the human stars are on-screen. The Ai avatars aren't terrible and both leads have amazing voices that make those avatars feel alive, I feel more of the emotional impact of certain character choices more when it was live-action.

If you're looking for a movie that can provide some laughs along with some introspection look no further!
