Karate Kid is back to the Big Screen and it's better than ever!

Sony has released a trailer for the next movie to the Karate Kid franchise. "Karate Kid Legends" stars Jackie Chan, Ben Wang, and Ralph Macchio in what could be Summer 2025's first box office hit. The trailer shows that Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) has his own academy and has a new star student Li Fong( Ben Wang) that gets into some trouble (in typical karate kid style) and enlists the help of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).

The trailer doesn't give much away but it manages to show off the beautiful action packed choreography this movie will display which seems to combine the spirit of the original films with the creativity expressed in Netflix's "Cobra Kai" series.

It is amazing to see what kind of movies can come out of Sony when it isn't Spider-Man related. With this movie being produced by Will and Jada Smith along with Karen Rosenfelt maybe we will see a cameo of Jaden Smith's character? Only time will tell but we WILL be seated.
