Fashion Week has hit DC!

I had the pleasure to be invited to DC Fashion Week and it was one hell on an event! The event was well executed and very well thought out, you can tell very quickly that this event is ran by veterans of the craft.

The walkway was in a triangle position with plenty of room for the models to show their stuff. There were also a couple of vendors there selling items and clothing which was a nice touch along with two spots to get hydrated with water or an adult beverage. There was also plenty of time before and after the show that allowed time for networking with models, vendors, and photographers. There were also step and repeats that attendees could use to take pictures to commemorate the evening.

As someone whose never been to a fashion show before it would be easy to get overwhelmed but I never did! The staff was extremely friendly and gave clear and concise directions for the press and visitors. The runway was well lit and the designs from day two and three were dynamic in color and inspiration. Some of my favorites came from "Fedele Nero" and "Corjor International."

DC Fashion Week is a great event that deserves even more spotlight and love. The emerging designers showcase was packed and full of vibrant energy and support while the International showcase brought experience, flair, and various cultures! I'll be recommending this show to more people in hopes that DC Fashion week continues to grow and become one of the hottest events in the nations capitol.
