Does "The Bear" final season deliver an excellent final dish?

FX's "The Bear" has released all 8 episodes of it's final season of the Emmy winning series but after last season leaving fans a lot to be desired does this final season satisfy everyone's appetite?

The answer is yes. The final season takes place over one last service for Carmy and in typical Bear fashion everything that could go wrong... goes wrong. I think what makes this final season shine brighter than the last two is that it goes back to making the relationships between the characters in the restaurant the focal point. This show has always hit it's stride with me when it allows the tension every episode build up until its boiling point when characters start losing it but have to face it because they are stuck in those four walls and dependent on one another to get through the shift.

Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Lionel Boyce are the standouts for the final season with a very surprising but lovely performance from Matty Matheson in a couple of episodes. I think the tension between Sydney and Carmy is the highlight of the season. The characters are given so many emotions to juggle given the insane set of circumstances and it makes for a roller coaster of a season (in a good way). And yes, the final two episodes made me start shedding some tears!

While this season isn't my favorite I think it offers a great final season with great closure for all the characters we've grown to love over the last five years. I'm going to give season 5 of "The Bear" a 8.5/10!
